1. Agreement to these terms
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) form an agreement between you and CaseConverterTool (“we”, “us”, or “the site”) concerning your access to and use of caseconvertertool.com and all related tools, content, and features. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the site.
2. The service
CaseConverterTool is a free, browser-based utility that transforms text between case formats, generates decorative Unicode styles, and provides related text utilities. The conversion runs locally in your browser. We may add, change, or remove features at any time, and we do not guarantee that any particular format or feature will remain available indefinitely.
3. Permitted use
You may use the site for personal, educational, and commercial purposes.
You agree not to:
- use the site in a way that violates any applicable law or the rights of another person;
- attempt to disrupt, overload, probe, or gain unauthorized access to the site, its servers, or related systems;
- use automated means to scrape, mirror, or resell the site or its content in a way that imposes an unreasonable load or misrepresents ownership;
- introduce malware, or use the site to distribute unlawful, harassing, or infringing material;
- copy, modify, or redistribute the site's branding, design, or source code except as permitted by applicable law or an applicable open-source license;
- misrepresent the site as your own product or imply an endorsement that does not exist.
4. Your content
You retain all rights to the text you paste into the converter. We do not claim ownership of it, and because processing happens locally, we never receive or store it. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to use and modify any text you convert, and for reviewing the result before publishing, committing, or otherwise relying on it.
5. Accuracy and no professional advice
Conversions follow deterministic rules, but natural language is full of exceptions. Automatic title case may not preserve unusual brand names, acronyms, or mixed-capitalization identifiers. Developer formats may not match every language's naming conventions. The output is a starting point, not a guarantee of correctness.
The site and its content are provided for general text-processing purposes. Nothing on the site constitutes legal, financial, medical, or other professional advice.
6. Intellectual property
The site's design, branding, original written content, and software — other than user-provided text and third-party components — are owned by us or licensed to us and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Third-party libraries and fonts remain subject to their respective licenses.
Text that you create with the converter remains yours. This includes text transformed into decorative Unicode styles; we claim no rights over your output.
7. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the site available and working, but we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. The site may be unavailable during maintenance, hosting incidents, or circumstances beyond our control. We may suspend or discontinue any part of the service without prior notice.
8. Third-party links and services
The site links to third-party websites and loads fonts from Google Fonts. Those services are operated independently, and we are not responsible for their content, availability, or privacy practices. Your use of a third-party service is governed by that service's own terms and policies.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be error-free, secure, or that any output will meet your requirements.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunity, arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the site. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability for all claims relating to the site will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us to use the site (which is zero for the free service) or the minimum amount required by law.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be waived under applicable consumer law.
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages, losses, and expenses arising from your misuse of the site, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of another party's rights. This does not apply to the extent the claim is caused by our own unlawful conduct.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where the site operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be subject to the competent courts of that jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence gives you the right to bring a claim locally.
13. Changes to these terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top of this page indicates when the current version took effect. If a change is material, we will make it reasonably prominent on the site. By continuing to use the site after a revision, you accept the updated Terms.
14. General
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of that provision. These Terms, together with the privacy policy, represent the entire agreement between you and us regarding the site.
